This is where I realize that this EP is kinda conceptual. After a realization that the world we live in is not honest and what it seems, that technology strips us of critical thinking and judgement and that the system and its apparatus keeps us in a state of apathy both on the sociopolitical and personal level, Break Your Chains comes in. This is the first somewhat positive track I have ever written and it's about realizing and not accepting that we are in total apathy. In a Hatebreed-esque way of thinking, the message (torch it all) is to express yourself, to question and make everything that's in your power to break the spell of apathy that the actual system did cast on us (directly and indirectly).
lyrics
The root of all evil • has got its grip on you • And through silence and penance • you live a life without consistence • Break your chains • Before nothing remains • Break your chains • Before nothing remains • Torch it all to see clear • or lose sight and disappear • Torch it all to be free • or die in the hands of the enemy
